Congratulations Winners Of The 2019 Frank Facey Student Award
The Frank Facey Student Award, now in its fourth year, is awarded to local students who have shown dedication and persistence throughout their VCE studies.
The award has been created by the team at Facey Property in honour of the dedication Frank Facey showed to the local community. The award aims to encourage young people to strive to be the leaders of tomorrow through their business commerce studies.
Nominations submitted through Facey Property’s website, came from teachers, mentors, family members, friends and students were able to nominate themselves.
Facey is very pleased to announce the following well deserved winners of the 2019 Frank Facey Award!
Jasmine Gilford – St John’s Regional College
Jasmine was nominated by her Economics teacher. Jasmine started Economics with a significant disadvantage to her peers having started the subject late last year. She has grown as a learner through frequently completing additional work for feedback. Naturally shy, she has had to work extremely hard for her learning and has grown immensely in her level of confidence in learning.
Haydar Ali – Dandenong High School
Haydar received multiple nominations. Haydar overcame a serious accident in 2017 and had to learn how to walk again. He has shown tremendous growth, dedication and knowledge in all his subjects and particularly in Business Management.
Each of the winners were chosen based on demonstrated improvement in their fields of study. Each have shown dedication to their education and have set personal goals and achieved them.

The Facey Family have been an integral part of the Dandenong community and business sector since 1917. Over three generations, Facey businesses have become specialists in Dandenong and the South East region.
