Ten years. Countless stories. One simple mission: recognise local students who display incredible dedication, resilience, and heart.
When our company founder, Frank Facey, turned his talents from coach building to real estate back in 1917, he commenced a journey built on hard work, community spirit, and integrity. He became a highly respected and trusted authority establishing a name synonymous with building long-lasting connections and supporting the local region.
It is this exact legacy that inspired us to create the student award a decade ago. We wanted to mirror that ethos by creating a pathway to uplift the next generation. That’s why the Frank Facey Student Award was created to shine a spotlight on Year 12 students who show outstanding resilience, passion, and determination despite facing adversity or hardship.
Reaching this 10-year milestone is deeply important to us. For a decade, we have been privileged to hear the inspiring stories of young people pushing through tough times to reach their potential. As we celebrate ten years of this initiative, we are more committed than ever to ensuring these efforts do not go unnoticed.
Some students don’t always make noise… but they make an impact. They show up. They push through. They lead quietly, support others, and keep going when things get tough. And now, it’s time to make sure they’re seen.
Nominations are open to everyone: students, teachers, family, and friends. Self-nominations are welcome too.
